The 100th birth anniversary of legendary Hindi cinema actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor will be celebrated on November 21st. The Kapoor Khan family is celebrating his significant contribution to Bollywood uniquely. To celebrate this milestone, a documentary series, "Dining With The Kapoors," will be streamed online on the OTT platform Netflix.

The trailer for this documentary series has already been released, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, and other members of the Kapoor family. However, Kapoor Khan's daughter-in-law, Alia Bhatt, is missing from the show. Let's find out the reason behind this:
Why wasn't Alia a part of the family show?
The Kapoor family of the film industry will celebrate Raj Kapoor's 100th birth anniversary in a new way. In the documentary series, "Dining with the Kapoors," releasing on the OTT platform Netflix on November 21st, the entire Kapoor family will eat together and discuss Raj Kapoor's legacy. Therefore, it's inevitable that every member of the family will be included in the series.
However, when the first trailer was released, actress Alia Bhatt was not seen in it. Ranbir Kapoor's wife and actress Alia is the daughter-in-law of the Kapoor family, so the audience wanted to know what she thinks of the Kapoor family. When the trailer featured everyone from Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Neetu Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Rima Jain, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and Navya Naveli Nanda, questions arose as to why Alia was not there.
Now, actor and Raj Kapoor's grandson, Armaan Jain, has answered this. In a recent interview, Armaan said that Alia already had some commitments regarding other shootings. That's why this happened. I may sound a bit filmy saying this, but as Raj Kapoor said, "Work is worship." In such a situation, work comes first.
Alia is busy with these films.
Actually, Alia Bhatt is currently busy with her upcoming films, Alpha and Love and War. While the spy thriller Alpha will be released in theatres in the month of April next year, the release of Love and War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, will take some time.
