Akshay Khanna: Did Akshay Khanna leave 'Drishyam 3' because of this one stubborn demand? The makers are furious...

Ajay Devgn's 'Drishyam 3' has been constantly in the news since its announcement. The film's cast has been the subject of much discussion. Amidst this, rumors surfaced that Akshaye Khanna had left the film. Now, 'Drishyam 3' producer Kumar Mangat has reacted to these rumors. Here's what he said about Akshaye Khanna…

Kumar Mangat Confirms Akshaye is Not Part of the Film
Producer Kumar Mangat has confirmed Akshaye Khanna's exit from 'Drishyam 3'. He also questioned Akshaye's attitude and criticized him. Kumar Mangat slammed his unprofessional behavior for leaving the film at the last minute. He also said that he is now planning to file a lawsuit against the actor.

The Wig Demand Spoiled Everything
Kumar Mangat said that they had an agreement with Akshaye Khanna. His fees were also finalized after several rounds of negotiations. He insisted on wearing a wig. But director Abhishek Pathak explained to him that it wouldn't be practical, as 'Drishyam 3' is a sequel, and it would create continuity problems in the story. Akshaye understood and agreed to drop his demand. However, some people around him advised him that he would look smarter with a wig. So he made the same request again. Abhishek agreed and was even ready to discuss the matter with him. But then he told us that he didn't want to be a part of the film at all.

Akshaye Once Had No Work
Kumar Mangat Pathak further added that there was a time when Akshaye was nobody. It was during that time that I made 'Section 375' (2019) with him. Even then, many people advised us not to work with him because of his unprofessional behavior. His attitude on set is also quite toxic. He gained recognition from 'Section 375'. Later, I signed him for 'Drishyam 2' (2022). He received all the big offers only after 'Drishyam 2'. Before that, he was sitting at home for 3-4 years.

'Dhruva' didn't work because of Akshaye Khanna.
Kumar Mangat expressed his displeasure with Akshaye Khanna regarding the praise he received for 'Dhruva' and the film's success. The producer, referring to Akshaye's previous successful films, said, "It's also worth noting that Ajay Devgn is in the lead role in the Drishyam franchise. 'Chhava' is Vicky Kaushal's film, in which Akshaye also features. The same applies to 'Dhruva'. 'Dhruva' is Ranveer Singh's film. If Akshaye had done a film alone, it wouldn't have even earned 50 crore rupees in India. Forget about lifetime collection. If he thinks he has become a superstar, then he should try making a film with a superstar budget with a studio.

Then we'll see who gives the green light to his film with such a big budget. Some actors do multi-starrer films, and when those films become hits, they start considering themselves stars. The same thing has happened with him. He thinks he is a superstar now. Success has gone to his head. He told us, 'Dhruva is running because of me'. He needs to understand that there are many reasons why Dhruva is doing well."
